CURLY CLARK
Making is what I do. Telling an internal story through external processes.
Working intuitively in the tradition of reflective soul-searching art.
This form lends itself to both personal and archetypal interpretation.
I believe that the intrinsic value resides in the object itself.
Making something involves time and space. I work in a range of media;
hand-dying and silk-screening textiles, printmaking, photography and writing.
Time has given me the understanding to move from one art form to another and back.
Mixing methods to express and distill my life experiences
to what is truthful and significant today.
